Licenses expire November 30 of even-numbered years.
Mandatory Topics
Alaska does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.
Additional Notes
Nurses may choose from multiple competency options: 30 CE hours, 60 hours of professional nursing activities, or 320 hours of nursing employment. APRNs with prescriptive authority need 15 hours in advanced pharmacology. DEA registrants need 2 hours in pain management and opioid use.
