Renewal Deadline

Licenses renew every 2 years. RN licenses expire on May 31 of odd-numbered years. LPN licenses expire on September 30 of even-numbered years.

Mandatory Topics

Substance Abuse

At least 3 CE hours must be on the topic of substance abuse.

Mandated Reporting

1 hour on mandated reporting of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

Additional Notes

Of the 30 hours, at least 3 must cover substance abuse and 1 must cover mandated reporting. The remaining hours are elective.
