Licenses renew every 2 years on June 30 of even-numbered years.

Mandatory Topics

Hawaii does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

Hawaii does not require continuing education for RN or LPN license renewal. Nurses self-attest to continued competency. APRNs with prescriptive authority must maintain national certification, which typically includes CE requirements set by the certifying body.
