Licenses renew every 2 years on August 31 of odd-numbered years.

Mandatory Topics

Idaho does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

Idaho does not mandate specific CE hours for RN/LPN renewal. Instead, nurses must demonstrate continued competency through 200 hours of nursing practice or 15 hours of CE plus 100 hours of practice, or a board-approved refresher course. There are no mandatory CE topics for RNs/LPNs.
