Licenses renew every 2 years on October 31 of odd-numbered years.

Mandatory Topics

Indiana does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

Indiana does not require continuing education for RN or LPN license renewal. Nurses self-attest to competency. However, Indiana law requires nurses to maintain competency in their area of practice. APRNs with prescriptive authority must maintain national certification, which typically requires CE.
