Renewal Deadline

Licenses renew every 2 years. Renewal dates are based on the nurse's birth month.

Mandatory Topics

Kansas does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

Kansas requires 30 hours of CE for all nurses but does not mandate specific topics. APRNs with prescriptive authority must include pharmacology hours relevant to their practice area.
