Licenses renew every 2 years on December 31 of even-numbered years.
Mandatory Topics
Mississippi does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.
Additional Notes
Mississippi does not mandate CE for active RN/LPN renewal under the Nursing Practice Law. However, nurses who have been out of practice for more than 5 years must complete 20 hours of CE before reinstatement. APRNs should check with their certifying body for CE requirements.
