Renewal Deadline

RN licenses expire April 30 of odd-numbered years. LPN licenses are eligible for renewal every even-numbered year between March 1 and May 31.

Mandatory Topics

Missouri does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

Missouri does not require continuing education for RN or LPN license renewal. APRNs must maintain board certification, which typically includes CE requirements set by the certifying body. Missouri is one of the few states with no CE requirement for basic licensure renewal.
