Licenses renew every 2 years. Expiration dates are staggered based on licensure type.

Mandatory Topics

Montana does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

24 contact hours required for a full 24-month licensing period. No mandatory topics for RNs/LPNs. APRNs with prescriptive authority must complete 12 of their 24 hours in pharmacotherapeutics.
