Mandatory Topics

Pain Management

1 hour of pain management CE required upon initial licensure and at every renewal. This applies even though Oregon does not require a set total of CE hours.

Additional Notes

Oregon does not require a specific total number of CE hours for RN/LPN renewal. Instead, nurses must complete a competency assessment and document 1 hour of pain management CE. Nurses may also meet requirements through practice hours or other competency methods. APRNs and NPs have additional CE requirements based on their prescriptive authority.
