Renewal Deadline

Licenses renew every 2 years on March 31 of odd-numbered years.

Mandatory Topics

Vermont does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

No mandatory CE topics for RNs/LPNs. Nurses can choose any topics relevant to their area of practice. APRNs who prescribe controlled substances must complete 2 hours on prescribing controlled substances every 2 years.
