Licenses renew every 2 years on February 28 of even-numbered years.

Mandatory Topics

Wisconsin does not require specific mandatory topics. All CE hours may be in topics relevant to your practice area.

Additional Notes

Wisconsin does not require CE for RN or LPN license renewal. Only APRNs with prescriptive authority must complete CE: 16 hours every 2 years, including 14 hours on clinical pharmacology or therapeutics and 2 hours on responsible prescribing of controlled substances.
